Recent developments have included improved mar resistant grades for interior trim, very high flow and rigidity grades for bumper facias. Such progress allows for thinner wall sections and lower clamp pressures.
High temperature metal deactivated grades for under-bonnet applications such
as fan shrouds have replaced a variety of other materials. Low fogging
grades for instrument panels and interior parts have also become common as
designers work towards a mono-polymeric solution.
All these have been developed inhouse by PolyPacific's Research and Development team.
