The company offers four major categories of Optic BOPP masterbatches:
  • Optic S
    which incorporates slip additives.
  • Optic AS
    containing antistatic additives.
  • Optic AB
    with antiblock agent.
  • Optic P
    based on pearlescent and/or pigment additives.
Different grades within these categories meet specific requirements of end-use. Melt Flow Index and base polymer can be adjusted to suit all BOPP and CPP film types.

Combinations of the above masterbatches are also supplied but PolyPacific's real strength is the ability to "tailor-make" a solution to meet a manufacturer's exact specification.

All Optic masterbatches are formulated to the food contact regulations set by Australian Standard AS2070, Part 5, and the additives used meet international approval including the United States F.D.A.

The expert staff at PolyPacific monitor and control the additive and moisture levels closely throughout the entire manufacturing process using sophisticated equipment. Testing facilities include High Pressure Liquid Chromotography, Differential Scanning Calorimetry and Fourier Transform infra-red analysis.
