The modification of polypropylene and polyethylene by the use of fillers, reinforcement agents, impact modifiers, flame retardants etc., is done to create a new family of thermoplastic materials.

These materials improve and extend the properties of polyolefin and provide a cost effective alternative to many high cost 'engineering' thermoplastics.
Over many years PolyPacific has developed the most comprehensive range of polyolefin compounds, masterbatches and elastomers available and continues to develop new materials.

Thus we further expand the grade range and properties by taking advantage of the latest advances in polymer, filler and processing technology.

As well as an extensive range of standard polyolefin compounds, masterbatches and elastomers, PolyPacific manufactures hundreds of grades that are custom made to meet end-user specifications.

Corton® Mineral Filled Polypropylene

In the Corton range, the mineral filler content can be varied from 10% to 75% depending on the physical properties required and the filler type.

Typical fillers are talc, mica, calcium carbonate, barium sulphate and wollastonite.

Epalex® Rubber Modified Polypropylene

Epalex thermoplastic rubber modified grades have a wide range of flexibilities depending on the level of impact modification and the level of mineral fillers.

Technical Data sheet

Seblex® Modified Elastomer

This class of products exhibits a wide range of properties. In addition to a flame retardent version, extrusion, mineral-filled and food contact grades are available.

There is an informative SEBLEX® brochure available here

Technical Data sheet

Extron® Glass Reinforced Polypropylene

Extron glass reinforced polypropylenes can range in filler levels from 5% to 45%. The standard glass reinforced range is 10% to 30% and consists of glass that is either uncoupled, semi coupled or fully coupled.

Combinations with other fillers/impact modifiers are also available to provide extended properties and a more balanced shrinkage.

Technical Data sheet

Optic® BOPP/CPP film masterbatches

The Optic range of BOPP/CPP film masterbatches meets the pearlescence/opacity, anti-block, anti-static and slip requirements of film manufacturers.

Polycomp® Polypropylene coloured compounds

Polycomp is unfilled polypropylene with compounded colour, in conjunction with various stabilisers for conditions such as heat and UV.

Technical Data sheet

Propak® Mineral filled Polypropylene for food contact

The Propak version of these mineral filled grades is used where suitability for food contact is required.

Technical Data sheet

Retpol® Flame retardant Polypropylene

Retpol flame retardant grades are designed to meet specific statutory regulations such as Underwriter Laboratory and local Electrical Standards.

Technical Data sheet

Jazz® Recycled Polypropylene

Jazz range incorporates recycled Polypropylene materials for further use, eliminating waste and minimising disposal.
